Description
Schedule: 3 hours on Friday night from 7-10pm, 6 hours on both Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm (with a one-hour lunch break on both days)
Class Time/Dates: Friday, March 13, 7pm-10pm; Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, 10am-5pm; with a one-hour lunch break on Saturday and Sunday
Class size: 16 students maximum
Class length: 15 hours total of instruction
Prerequisite: None! Open to all adults 18 and over.
Foundation 1 is our fun introduction to the joys and thrills of improvisation and the BATS-style of improvised theatre. This intensive covers all of the content of the 6-week Foundation 1 class over three days.
Students learn improv concepts and vocabulary, practice new skills, and perform in a safe, friendly atmosphere. Through games and exercises, you'll play, explore, and experiment with creating characters and scenes, guided by our seasoned coaches. Foundation 1 is all about unleashing your innate skill. Are you human? Then you have all the experience necessary to excel!
BATS Improv Class Refund Policy:
Class cancellation policy:
- If you cancel more than 96 hours (4 days) before a class begins, we will refund your tuition less a 15% processing fee.
- If you cancel within 96 hours (4 days) of your first class, your tuition will be forfeit.
Summer Youth and Adult Sessions cancellation policy:
- If you cancel more than 14 days (2 weeks) before your first class, we will refund your tuition less a 15% processing fee.
- If you cancel within 14 days (2 weeks) of your first class, your tuition will be forfeit.
All cancellation and refund requests must be emailed to registrar@improv.org, and include the title and start date of your class.
In the event that we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we’ll refund your tuition in full.
Please note: In the past, we have offered class credit in lieu of refunds. We are no longer able to offer this option. Each class tuition payment will stand on its own, and is non-transferable.
